I am thankful most of all for all of you who read my blog, and through thick and thin have seen Myrnah and I through the making of Taming Wild.
New York City gave us an amazing Premiere at the Equus Film Festival.
So grateful my beautiful daughter Cameron could be there to see the completion of this work she has graciously shared her mother’s attention with for so many years.
So many to thank, and so much to be grateful for on this Thanksgiving. You know who you are… I am sending all my love and gratitude!
Mostly, I have to admit, I am so glad to be back home in my real work again with Myrnah.
We are moving forward on plans for a local premiere here in Seattle and getting the movie out to everyone as soon as we put the final polish on it. Promise to keep you all posted!

Lovely photographs which capture a feeling of true happiness in New York. – it must have been a very special experience. I had a feeling you might do a “final polishing” of the film after the premiere …… I am an artist and when I am working on a painting for quite some time in my studio I get “comfortable” with how it looks in that environment and light conditions….. so much so that when I take the painting into another room it immediately looks totally different and get me feeling unsettled about this and that. When it is seen for the first time in public at an exhibition it looks different again and I start thinking “I wish I’d made that bit a little lighter” or a little darker and so on ….. so I can easily imagine that you may have had a similar experience watching your own film in that public arena for the first time. You see it with fresh eyes and of course there is the feeling then that certain parts could be somehow better ….perhaps after feeling the audience reaction this too could steer you towards “tweaking it” here and there! Well, all I can say is that I can hardly wait to see the final, final version ….. so please don’t polish for too long! 🙂 I have also learned from experience with my paintings that knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing when a change of some kind is needed. Good luck with the final editing ….. I am sure it will be wonderful.
